Four steps towards API integration
After you have registered, you can explore our different APIs and their description, technical and functional documentation, and the terms of use. When you’re ready the initiate the integration process, here are four simple steps you will need to follow:

Trial and exploration
On this portal, we offer support and documentation to facilitate the preparation of the integration process. We invite you to register and log in if you wish to get access to the technical documentation, the actual APIs and the terms of use. You’ll also be able to register your sandbox or production application after you log in.
Contracting
If all looks good and you decide to move forward, we will sign a contract. This contract includes terms and conditions that balance the interests of yourself and NN. It aims to achieve a fair and reasonable apportionment of risk and liability. The contract also includes details about the exchange of customer data, data access and mutual obligations, and of course security and licenses.
Acceptance
Once the contract is signed, we can initiate the acceptance phase. We will assist you during this phase, by providing a sandbox testing environment that allows you to try some of the possible integration scenarios within a secure environment while using fictional data. We can also provide some standardized test cases if desired. You’ll receive an overview of all the URLs that are relevant when integrating with the APIs, and how to retrieve and use tokens.
Production
The final step is to put the APIs into production. Of course, we will continue to support you by offering up-to-date information about updates and maintenance. You’ll also have access to useful information on HTTP status codes, error handling and a useful FAQ.
