Coaching, appreciation and rewards
We think feedback is extremely important. For this reason, performance management at NN is a continuous process of coaching, appreciation and reward.
In addition to daily communication with mentors and contacts, you have discussions with your manager three times a year:
- The planning meeting is where we make agreements about what is to be done – whether or not it is linked to goals.
- The performance appraisal takes place after six months, followed by helpful guidance as required.
- The valuation discussion is the equivalent of an annual evaluation. The decisions made determine your wage (increase).
Training
On the job
The most important training takes place on the job. Your manager ensures that you have integrated into the team well and built up the knowledge you need, together with a mentor. You will learn a lot from the colleagues who work closely with you.
Learning and development
Besides on-the-job learning, NN also offers a training catalogue. We work together with Fopas and other training institutions and invest in e-learning. When highly specific training is required, we search together with you and your manager for the most appropriate course.
